About

Tanya Kaya is a Boston based fashion design student at Massachusetts College of Art and Design. Her work has been shown at multiple exhibits, including being featured at the Copley Place in Boston, MA, as part of MassArt’s 150 year anniversary showcase.

While in school, Tanya led a fashion design course for teens at HipStitch, a sewing studio in Newton, MA, where she worked for many years. During the summer of her junior year at MassArt, she interned at The TJX Companies, Inc. as a Technical Designer, where she is currently working part time during the school year.

Tanya is incredibly passionate about fashion design. She is known to pull inspiration from hardship and regaining power and strength. Her main goal as a designer is to make anyone look and feel confident in her pieces.
